Job Description: BMK Secure Solutions is looking for a part-time Administrative Support Specialist. The Clerical/Administrative Support position performs a variety of administrative functions. May include: scheduling appointments, taking notes and/or dictation, composing memos, transcribing notes, and assisting in creating/producing presentations. Will handle multiple projects as needed.

Duties Include:

  • Assisting as needed with administrative tasks
  • Ordering office supplies as needed
  • Filing
  • Creating internal binders for opportunities
  • Scheduling
  • Event registration/membership tracking
  • Participate in professional development activities
     

Education and Experience:

Requires a high school diploma with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Administration, Clerical experience a plus 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the administrative/clerical field
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job; while working to improve procedures and maximize results
  • Reports to the Project Manager and Operations Specialist
  • Must be Detail Oriented
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated and organized
  • Must be able to work independently and/or with a team
  • Must be comfortable working in a virtual environment

    Requirements:


1) Must live in a designated HUBZone area (check to see if you live in a HUBZone by going to www.map.sba.gov/hubzone/maps/)
2) Must be one or more of the following:
        - Active Duty/Reserves/National Guard
        - Military Veteran
        - Military Spouse
        - Current College Student
3) Must be a U.S. Citizen
4) Must be able to provide documentation verifying residence in a HUBZone (i.e. Driver’s license, rental agreement, voter registration etc.)
5) Must be able to work a min of 40 hours/month

AttendanceRegular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical

Other Essential FunctionsMust put forward a professional behavior; grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position.
